diaper delivery service FAQ

Why Cloth?

This is for a few very simple reasons

1.Health .... no chemicals on your baby!

     2.Cost ... cheaper than disposable

3.Convenience ... never run out or have to run to the store - the diapers come to you!

4.Eco-Friendly ... better for the earth and less waste in our landfills

What if this is my first time with cloth?

Fear not - everyone was a rookie at first!  Once you have signed up for service you will have the option to schedule a Diaper Demo before you baby arrives. At that time, we will go over how to use the diapers.  (Due to Covid concerns, this is currently also available through Zoom or Facetime). You will also be given access to videos on how to use our diapers that you will be able to easily access as a reminder once your baby arrives. Don't forget - you'll be changing your baby approximately 10+  times a day, so with all that practice you’ll be a pro in a couple of short days - but if at any time you need an in-home diaper demo after baby arrives, we will gladly schedule one with you. We are here to make cloth diapering easy for you all along the way and support you in any way that we can!

How often and what time are the diapers picked up?

Diaper pick-up/drop-off is once per week.  The day is determined by your address.  When you sign up you will be assigned your 'exchange day' ... just have your diapers outside no later than 8:00 am and we'll swing by with your new clean set

What if I forget to put my diapers out?

Contact us as soon as you remember. We may be able to come back, if we're still in the area, or arrange a special pickup if we'll be nearby on another day (there may be an additional fee for the extra trip if we aren't in your area). Otherwise, we'll ask you to set them out at your next pick up date. We will still drop off your clean diapers the first time you forget, (we don't want anyone to run out of diapers!) but we can't do this if no diapers are picked up for two weeks in a row.

Can I wash my diapers at home?

Please do not wash the diapers yourself. Home laundering frequently results in staining. If you need more diapers, just contact us.  If washing at home is something you want to try, we can set up just a diaper rental, with no charge for the full service laundering and this will save you money - plus we can help walk you through the laundering process and what products are best to use.

Do we need to sign a contract?

You are not locked into any one service and there is no long-term contract. Just two weeks is all we require to get started. You may cancel service at any time.

Who owns the diapers when we are done?

You are essentially renting the diapers as part of the service. So as your baby grows, you simply request the next size up and turn in the smaller size.  At the end of your diaper service, you will turn in all the diapers, rented covers, wet bag, pail & liner/delivery bags.

What areas do you service?

We service the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas- if you live outside the Lehigh Valley, just send us an email with your location and we'll let you know if we can add you on to a delivery day closest to where you live.

Do you offer a referral program?

Yes! Our business is built upon word of mouth and we value our customers sharing their good experiences with their friends.  For every friend you refer, you will get a week of delivery service FREE when they sign up.

What if my child care provider won't let me use cloth?

Unfortunately, this happens. We are happy to show them how far cloth diapers have come. But when cloth diapering 100% of the time isn't an option, we do offer a part cloth, part disposables option, which we will customize to your needs. Currently we offer Seventh Generation disposables for $12 per package and can deliver these along with your cloth diapers for the week.  Just email us and we can determine the right amount of cloth and disposal for you weekly needs.

Can I use diaper creams?

Yes! However, we have found that Regular or Original Formula Desitin creams (or anything containing Cod Liver Oil) stain our diapers. Petroleum based products should be avoided as they impact the absorbency of the diapers.  Any other diaper cream is fine. We offer Weleda and Bee Natural diaper creams for sale, as well as Burts Bees, and they can be delivered with your weekly service. If you have questions about a diaper cream, just shoot us an email and we will be happy to help.

What is your privacy policy?

We only ever use your email address to communicate with you regarding any changes to your weekly diaper service or to send our newsletter with also has our sales/promotions.  We will NEVER share your information with any third parties, ever.

organic, eco-friendly, chemical free products

What are my payment options?

Venmo or credit cards are accepted. If you choose to pay weekly, payment is due on the day of your pick up.  We are happy to set up automatic payment either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

We also sell gift certificates, and can give you inserts for baby shower invitations, so tell your friends you plan to use (or are using) our service and we will be happy to help get a gift certificate in the mail right away.

What if I am going on vacation?

Just let us know. We can give you extra diapers the week before, if you wish to cloth diaper while on vacation, or we can deliver Seventh Generation brand disposables before you leave.  We can happily put your service on hold while you are gone but we don request 1-2 weeks notice, and we’ll need to get any soiled diapers from you before you leave. We reserve the right to request you turn in all rental stock items while you're away.

Do you service apartment buildings?

Yes, absolutely.  We find that each situation is different. Ideally, we would have access to get inside the building (with a key or code) and swap the diapers out side your apartment main door. We can also leave diapers in the lobby or outside in a concealed spot. Please contact us to discuss the specifics of your building.

Do I get the same diapers back each week?

Yes! This is where we are different from most other diaper services.  Your service is personalized.  You'll receive the same diapers back each week, except for diapers that are badly stained or worn out, which are replaced

Do I have to do anything special with the dirty diapers?

When your baby is a new born and just eating breast milk or formula there’s nothing you need to do with your diaper. Just put it in the diaper pail no matter how nasty it is. We'll take care of everything. Once your baby starts to eat solid food, and is having solid bowel movements we ask that you shake off as much as you can into the toilet before you put the diaper in the diaper pail. You don’t have to get everything off the diaper. Remember: you can leave the dirty work for us, but it will help keep the smell down in your diaper pail and help prevent stains from setting in.

What do I do with soiled diapers when I am not at home?

When you are out of the house we recommend you put your dirty diapers in a wet bag, which is a breathable zippered bag that has a waterproof coating. If you use a plastic bag for your dirty diapers when you’re out and about be sure to put the diapers in your diaper pail when you get home to avoid molding. Your starter kit includes 1 wet bag and more are available to purchase if you wish.

What about the holidays, or if the weather is bad?

We deliver as usual on most holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day and will notify you in advance of the holiday delivery schedule adjustment for that week . That said, we are a family-run business. We'd let you know as soon as possible in the rare event of a family emergency or event which would cause us to shift around your delivery day. We will also let you know if weather conditions prevent us from making deliveries. If you're worried you might not have enough diapers to get through, tell us.  We try to never have a 'surprise' schedule change and watch the weather in advance to plan accordingly.

What if I am ready to cancel?

Just contact us to arrange for a final pick up at least 2 weeks in advance. Your final pickup will be your final week of service. There is a fee for missing materials: $2 per diaper, $40. per diaper pail,  $15 per wet bag, and $20 per diaper pail bag/liner. We want all of our customers to leave us because their children are potty trained. If you wish to leave us because of another reason, please tell us so we can try to help.
